About Us
We began ministry to children and young people in the early 1980's. Bible studies and youth ministry blossomed into Young At Heart Ministries. Kathleen directed and choreographed musicals and Mike played the lead character as we packed out the church. God's calling was stirring within us, and we launched out from our home church Faith Chapel, Hagerstown Maryland
Knowing God wanted a shift in the ministry, Mike became an ordained minister with Rev. Jim Kaseman and AFCM (Association of Faith Churches and Ministries). We pastored for two years in Hagerstown, but knew this wasn't our full calling. While at the annual AFCM convention in Tulsa Oklahoma, we met Rev. Miriam Hellman of Prophetic Ministries in Washington D.C. Under her tutelage we stepped into our full time calling and we were both ordained through Prophetic Ministries in the year 2000. The Lord spoke to us and said to change the name to Heavens Gateway Ministries.
We have gone to many fields at God's direction, including the United States (Maryland, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and South Dakota), Peru, Mexico (Cancun, Merida, Mexico City), Nepal and India (Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Bangalore, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Assam, and West Bengal); where we built a bible training center & have graduated over 1,000 students, since 2007, who are impacting the Kingdom all over India!
We have conducted healing crusades with amazing signs following; leaders and ministries have received major impartation and we continue to go into His Harvest to equip, edify and advance His Kingdom!
